How to Redeem Mystery Gift Codes in Pokemon Violet
To redeem any Mystery Gift code, follow these steps:
- Reach a Pokémon Center: You must first visit a Pokémon Center to unlock the Mystery Gift feature.
- Open the Menu: Press X, then select Poke Portal.
- Select Mystery Gift: Scroll to the bottom and choose Mystery Gift.
- Use “Get With Code/Password”: Enter the active code carefully.
- Receive Your Gift: Wait for the download to complete. Your items or Pokémon will be added to your Bag or Boxes.
You don’t need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to claim these gifts, but an internet connection is required.
Additional Gift Types (No Code Required)
Some Mystery Gifts don’t need a code and are distributed via the Internet:
- Mythical Pecha Berry – Available to those with The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC.
- Flying Tera Type Pikachu – May still be available as a pre-order bonus depending on your version.

- Go to Mystery Gift → Get via Internet.
